This year has been very different for us. We have become involved with an inner-city mission called "Rescue Atlanta". They are focused on homeless and down-and-outers.

In February, I spoke at a mission conference in Marietta, GA that a supporting church was holding. God did amazing things!

I have just returned from the Innovative Evangelism Conference in Portland, OR. It was hosted by Luis Palau and the Next Generation Alliance for evangelists.

No one ever expected it to happen. We've lived in the Atlanta metro area for 20+ years, and we've never seen rain like this! Hundreds of homes flooded. Millions of dollars worth of damage.

Last Saturday (9/26/09), we went to downtown Atlanta, GA to minister with the Atlanta Dreams Center through a program called Adopt a Block.

"It is wonderful that we are here, but as much as we all want awakening, the only thing we are accomplishing right now is to acknowledge that there is a problem!"

Jennifer and I just returned from a literal Mountain Top Experience. The Shepherd's Refuge is a place where ministers can go for rest, retreat, and to receive from God.

Yesterday, Jennifer and I went to a local retirement community where I often preach. This time, we had a new member on our team: Cody.

I was invited to speak to a Korean Student group at "New Church" in Marietta, GA. Last year, I spoke to them and had the honor of addressing them once again.
