Information on Inviting a Speaker
Thank you for your interest in inviting David Moerschel to speak.
Here is a link to ministry references. As you read them, please bear in mind the Scripture: "Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you or from you? You are our letters...written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God." (2 Corinthians 3:1-3)
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you conducting meetings internationally?
At this time, we are not considering invitations outside of the U.S.A. In years past, we did a lot of international work, but the Board of Directors for the DMEA has decided to focus on the US for a season.
Our church is small (30-50 people). Will David still come?
Yes. We are not there for your money or to impress ourselves by preaching to large congregations or venues. Each person is important, and we would not minimize their value by having a minimum number of people.
We cannot pay much money. Is that a problem?
David does not have a set fee or a minimum amount of reimbursement. David only asks that you take up a love offering each night and provide room and board for his stay. Hotels are not necessary. Their ministry is partially funded by individual donors that help make up the difference for smaller churches.
What type of meetings do you conduct?
Church-based preaching
Revivals/Special Meetings
Evangelistic Crusades and Festivals
Conferences, Camps & Retreats
Youth Outreach
Evangelism Training Seminars
Mission Conferences
Prayer Summits
How do you handle transportation expenses?
Under some circumstances, the DMEA will cover their own transportation expenses (such as airfare or gasoline), but it is normally paid by the inviting organization.
