Spoke at Mission Conference

In February, I spoke at a mission conference in Marietta, GA that a supporting church was holding. God did amazing things!

On Saturday evening, I met a man and his wife briefly after the banquet. The Lord impressed on my heart that Jesus wanted to be closer to him, and He also wanted the man to be closer to his wife. It was time for the service to start, so I had to wait until after.

Once the service was over, I awkwardly made my way over to him and said what I felt the Lord put on my heart. He was very receptive. For the next 10 minutes, I ministered to him and his wife and talked to them about the great Father's Love. We then held hands to pray. After praying, they both broke down in tears. The man said that someone had just counseled him about issues from his past that were hindering his relationships. Thus he affirmed all the Lord spoke.

The next morning, I was asked to speak to the youth group. I was unsure what to say, but I felt the Lord was still working in the area of the Father's Love. So I spoke on that subject. I was able to pray for each of the students gathered individually, instead of giving an "invitation." After the service, a young man came up and confessed a bunch of sins to me, and I counseled him in repentance and righteousness.
