Empowering for Awakening

Empowering for Awakening

"It is wonderful that we are here, but as much as we all want awakening, the only thing we are accomplishing right now is to acknowledge that there is a problem!"

"Revival is not so easy. Throughout church history, revival comes as people repented of sins, restored stolen goods, and repaired broken relationships. Today we are taking the first step to recovery: Admit there is a problem. The next step is to seek the empowering of the Spirit to be a witness throughout this land."

After delivering a short message, I prayed that the Spirit would come upon everyone there to empower them to go out and do the works of God and show that there is still a God in Israel!

The above were excerpts from a very impromptu message that I delivered at steps of the county courthouse in Marietta, GA to a group of 20-25 people gathered to remember 9/11 and pray for awakening in the nation.

If you missed this opportunity to pray, there is another chance coming up the first three days of December (read more).
